Yeah but here is the thing. I do not watch the MCU for normal people. The whole point of me watching that universe, is to watch the people who have extraordinary gifts/powers that I could never have. That is the fun. If I want a show about two regular people working things out, there are many many many shows that revolve around that principle. Its like watching a cop show and have an episode deal with a grocery clerk and how he goes through life in the grocery store. It is not why I watch a Cop show.Wonderman is MCU team learning from Andor. No its not as good, but thats an unfair bar. This is the, lets make a MCU show but make the mutants / supes not the main (or any) focus but what would it be like living in that world. Turns out kinda shitty, if you are trying to hide who you are and the government trying to overcompensate to protect a traumatized populace.
This is bar none the best MCU product since Infinity War and probably the "best" product from an actual show standpoint. The two mains are killing it. Kingsley doing his Mandarin voice to get a genuine reaction out of Mateen for his video audition was *chefs kiss*. Doorman filling in needed backstory on why Department of Damage Control is a thing was nice and gave a story on what regualrly happens to people when their 15 minutes are up. Plus getting Josh Gad to admit he cant act for shit made me laugh.
Yes the is Hollywood writing Hollywood, but I dont hate that unless its schmultz. This is not. This is two troubled, lowpoint in universe amazing actors supporting eachother and the chemistry is fantastic.
so, Seinfeld if Jerry was Superman and his friends were the rest of the JL, but during they show they're 100% in their secret identities?

Wonder Man the main character has powers and has to hide it. There are scenes about him being a superhero. One of the episodes is entirely a flashback about another superhero. There's good superhero shit in it, it's just not the focus because he has to hide it.Yeah but here is the thing. I do not watch the MCU for normal people.
