After playing the demo, I think it is much more like 2016 than Eternal. I'd say its like Doom+Ghost Runner. Melee kills will give a bit of health back, while the Core grenade you can rip out of mobs will drop ammo when used to kill stuff. The Core can also consumed to get a mega punch that will break armored mobs.Which Doom are they inspired by? The good one or the complexity for complexity's sake one?
Cool, I d/l the demo but got pulled away before trying. The language in the trailer on Steam was very heavy about “success not bringing advancement; die and learn skills” yadda yadda. Made it sound more rogue’ish elements.Not sure if its a rogue-like at all. Been watching Lirik on his playthrough, and it certainly has Doom aggressive oriented combat, but its totally linear where you can upgrade the weapons / systems as you go through. Death just has you restart at the nearest checkpoint. Not sure what there is after finishing the Story though. Great soundtrack though!
