The activities of Mao and the emergence of Maoism are no criticism of Marx and his philosophy. That's disingenuous.
Don't judge us on our results, judge us on our INTENTIONS. Gotcha.
I'm going to say that the activities of the followers of an ideology are, in fact, relevant criticism of that ideology. Much like the actions of Islamic suicide bombers makes most of Islam look pretty goddamn shitty.
You're taking Maoist policy as evidence of what communism is as stated by Marx, then quoting his propaganda to as proof of the notion that the activity, not even the words, somehow indict Marx or his writings of mass terror and exploitation.
Maoist policy is one of a large body of evidences that what Marx proposed isn't FEASIBLE in real world conditions, Dumar. No one thinks Marx was calling for mass murder (even though he did call for violent revolution), or that Marx, when he wrote what he wrote, intended for things to turn out the way they did.
What is said is that he had a theory, and there were gobs of experiments undertaken by very powerful nations to see if his theories comported with reality. And they didn't. And the end result was devastation.
There is no burden of proof of mine whatsoever.
Uh, yeah, it is your burden of proof to show that YOUR words aren't the same insincere bollocks you proclaim Mao and other's words to be. If you're going to claim that all these previous revolutions weren't really communist, but your revolution will be, the burden of proof is absolutely on your shoulders to demonstrate how you aren't like them.
So far, all you've done is demonstrate how you are EXACTLY like them, totally sold that your ideology is the only solution, is always right, and can't be wrong. When you go into an experiment convinced your preconceived notions are correct, you will do ANYTHING to prove that true.
That is how the tragedies under Marxist led nations has repeated itself over and over again. Because people like you are arrogant, you are convinced that you are absolutely 100% correct in your assumptions, and when those assumptions don't pan out, its time to start killing people who dared to say you were wrong.
