You probably don't realize it, but hodj does that for a reason and that reason is not to annoy you.

Annoying you is a pleasant side effect of bludgeoning you with your own stupidity. Stupidity being defined as the condition of being unable to learn from mistake. You're annoyed because he won't allow you fuzzy thinking, and your assertions rely exclusively on that kind of childlike quality of belief. This is religion masquerading as social science. Peddle it honestly instead as religion and Hodj will have no argument to make against you. Don't blame hodj for your complicity in the travesty of your own belief structure.

When he points to priests raping little boys, and the philosophical beliefs which nearly demand they find shelter from prosecution in the body of the Church... I say, "Well, yeah. That's a problem isn't it?". When he then uses that rightful anger at willful sin to assert the entirety of the the social structure is baseless and regrettable... I say, "Well, you've gone a step too far there, haven't you?"

You're annoyed because he's not letting you spew the bullshit that most people will allow you to spew. They let you spew it because they simplydon't care about youenough to tell you to shut up. Hodj cares. God knows why, but he does. It's a tough sort of love in your case.

What else should I watch?

I've been going through Best Movie Lists for 2000s before I work my way down to 1990s and 1980s.

Some dude put this list together and its been pretty helpful.

I've been working my way down the list. The next 3 I haven't watched yet are Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Memento (seen this actually but a very long time ago so I barely remember it) and Catch Me If You Can.
