Incredible career. I remember hearing about him back in 2008 - 2009 and getting him in fantasy baseball. I would always try to get the new pitchers (Lincecum, Scherzer, Kershaw) and it was so fun. You were like a scout that hit on the next phenom.

He should be a first ballot HoF'er for sure.

10 of those runs came off the backup catcher who pitched 1 and a third and gave up 10 runs. Scherzer got blown up for 7 in the first inning so credit to the Royals for that, but games like this are why team run differential doesn't matter in baseball.

However, I was around for 92 and 93 series when the Jays won their back to back ones, and I don't think this team is as good as that one. Wouldn't be surprised to see them pull a Maple Leafs and lose their first series in the playoffs.
