If it came down to Dodgers vs. Mariners in the world series, I'm not sure who I would want to win. I just follow the Dodgers now because I like their players, but I was a Mariners (Ichiro) fan back in the start of the 2000s playing high school baseball and the 2001 ALCS was so depressing. Would be cool to see their first world series appearance and maybe even win.

Id love a Mariners/Dodgers Series because either my fav team, The Dodgers, win or if the Mariners win, at least it’s their first win plus my friend from Washington, who I’m trying to get more interested in ball, would prob enjoy it(I think it’s helpful for her getting over her mothers death)

Gotta roll with the Mariners or Dodgers. I actually got to meet Tommy Lasorda as a kid — my dad’s job got us into the Dodgers locker room before a game, where I met the whole team. I was a big Orel Hershiser fan; I loved that sidearm delivery. I even got all their autographs.

I could’ve switched to being a Dodgers fan right then and there, but you stick with your team for life. After the game, we went to an Italian restaurant in St. Louis and had dinner with Lasorda while my dad talked shop.

Seattle will melt down if we actually make the series... and there might not be any left if we win it. The town will go bananas for a good reason.

I dont think so. I’m a KC fan so take it for what it is.

I’ve just felt like the Dodgers had complete control during this game.

Enjoy this time. Amazing team.

I agree somewhat, they had a lot of missed opportunities where they could've scored a lot more. I was hoping to see Ohtani break out of his slump here but they walked him all night. Let's see how they do without Snell going 8 innings for them the next few games though.
