I was there at the game when Joe Carter hit the homer in 93

im actually super excited to see them back even if the Dodgers are super favorited.

It’s a disservice to call Ohtani a once in a generation talent; he’s a once in a lifetime talent.
My grandma was born shortly after Ruth retired and she lived long enough to see Ohtani play for the Dodgers.
Once in a century. But after that last game. More like the best ever.

Dodgers in 4.
Ohtani in 0.

Basically what I'm hoping is that Toronto gets nuked/destroyed by an asteroid strike before game 1 starts but after the Dodgers have after flown there. Shohei gets held up meeting with his bookie causing him to miss his flight and is credited as the winner as the only surviving player of either franchise.

I love Ohtani. I hate the Dodgers for basically cheating the salary cap. $1 billion in deferred payments when the next closest is 1/3 of that. That being said, Toronto is full of communists.

Life-long meteor fan, checking in.

I don't care for the Dodgers, and I love Ohtani. Dude is the GOAT. Fuck the Angels though. They could have spared us this by being competent.
