I would almost rather they throw Scherzer against Yamamoto in game 6 and hold Gausman for a potential game 7. I feel very nervous about Scherzer pitching in game 7.

About tonights game, Yesavage is the first pitcher since Orlando Hernandez in 2000 to have a 12 strikeout game in the World Series, the first rookie to ever do it, and this was the first EVER 12 strikeout 0 walk game in World series history. Pretty crazy to think he started the year pitching in single A.

Two shots at home to win it all, doubt the Jays get another chance like this for a long time.

if they Jays had anyone but Schnider as manager this series is over now. Even if they win he needs to go. There’s some version where Manoah is healthy and they have the best starting rotation in baseball. Yea it’s a dream maybe but they are a really good team that finally figured it out.

Manoah was/is a headcase, he didnt have the mental to hold it together.
