Wonder what the mystery fight is that fell through. There was a huge fight UFC was trying to get for the White House card that didn't happen due to "weird circumstances".
DW said it absolutely is not Jon Jones and he meant what he said about him being retired and banned from the card. It seems to involve Aspinall from what I gathered at the press conference.
My guess is Poatan vs Aspinall was the fight they wanted headlining.
Either way the White House card has some good fights on it, but lacks all top 5's. The way it was hyped up everyone is going to be a little disappointed.

Gane getting another title shot is an eyeroller. The card is ass for the "biggest card of all time".

i mean, dana could have tried to put a better card together instead of rewarding the cheater and giving alex "one eye" pierea a new nickname, but he's too busy gooning over ninas feet

i think they were probably gonna add bmf winner vs. conner, but ain't no one wants to see conner get wrestle fucked again

Masvidal vs Conor in a BMF legacy fight would have been a good spectacle. Both guys at similar places in their careers.
A great test for Conor to see if he still has some of his old timing. And Conor should have no problem taking that fight or pull out of it because of cold feet.

-Topuria vs Gaethje is a great fight. Topuria probably takes him out in the first round, but let's see what happens. Very worthy of headlining the event.
-Alex Pereria vs Jon Jones/Tom Aspinall would have been huge. Ciryl Gane is a shoulder shrug.
-Sean O'malley vs some decision specialist that will probably wrestle rape him.
-Ruffy vs Chandler. Could be a fun fight, but not White House worthy.
-Bo Nickal vs Daukaus. This should maybe be a Fight Night headliner.
-Diego Lopes vs some fuckin guy.
Conor vs anyone would have been huge for marketing (but probably a bad fight). Sign Conor and Masvidal to one fight deals and give the people what they want. Last thing I want to watch is women's MMA, but isn't Nunes vs Harrison sitting right there to check a box? I hope they are trying to add one more big fight before we get to the finish line.

they have not been to clear when she would be able to train and fight again, dana said sometime this year. she was saying out 6 months. depending on who is talking they fixed "multiple herniated discs" and/or replaced a disc. That was in January, so she could be back training as soon as next month or could be 6 month, or take a whole year to be 100%.
