The rivalry Adesanya had with Alex changed him big time. hasn't been the same since.

he's 36 years old. it's a young mans game. had a decent game plan though, his leg kicks were starting to cripple pyfer.

Despite Poatan cutting even more weight prior, Adesanya's cut just looked stupid. He's working with a world renown weight coach to do it, and it just looks like it's not working out due to age and wear plus all the damage he's taken.

He could have moved up to restart his career (things slow down a little at 205) but he's clearly not big enough for 205. Jan handled him. Just difficult to see what's next.

Disagree with Pyfer that Adesanya is over Anderson Silva. I know Pyfer wanted to show respect, but Anderson is above him.

lol, during the prelims Cruz was still salty and whining about his fight and stoppage by Peterson. I hope they're trolling the fuck out of him and putting Peterson on all of his play-by-plays with the order to let his matches be fights to the death.

Why did Pyfer say he almost offed himself ? DC just rolled with it like it was a normal thing to say.

I think Izzy still has it on the feet, may have lost a step, sure, but he can finish pretty much anyone in the division on any given day. If it goes the ground though he seems to lose a lot of confidence and just burns a ton of energy trying to not let it get finished there. Plenty of great fights to make still. There's been plenty of guys with his kind of talent that has lasted a few more years at a high level. I tend to forget how big Izzy is at 6'4" too. Usually, Pyfer makes other middleweights look small, but he and Izzy were about the same size.

Apex card this weekend is meh. The card the next weekend however headlined by Jiri and Ulberg looks pretty damn good top to bottom.
