gang If this has already been asked and answered 100 times please bear with me. I hardly come into Gravy's great stadium and that is usually for NFL.
Is this going to be a REAL fight or one of those Tyson/Paul fake ass fights ? If it's real I'll make sure to watch, even if I have to renew my Netflix for 24hrs. If not , fuck 'em.

This should be a real fight. Will it be competitive? Eh. Gina hasn't fought in a really, really long time.

In fairness, I think Gina did about as well against Cyborg as Rousey ever would've. Rousey really got helped by women having zero fight IQ and just walking right into her. First chick who could really move and box, beat the brakes off her.

But yeah, doubt this is competitive. They should have them both fight Kayla Harrison at the same time.

that piece that he broke is supposed to removable. when fighter earns a ruby, they have to take it off and send it to a jeweler to have it set.

Her face was drawn at the presser. Saw a vein in her arm as well. 145 is still way down there for her. You remember how much she had to cut back then, and I agree it's questionable if she's going to make 145 just because of how she missed weight before and looked even more drawn. But we'll see.

She said she would have stopped training (for weight loss) 30 pounds ago if it wasn't for this fight. So that puts her at preferring to walk around in the 180 range.

Either way it's cool to see her get in prime fight shape again, something we never thought possible again-- especially at 44.

Prime JDS vs Ngannou would be competitive. JDS looked good at the presser but he took so much damage in his career the promoters knew they couldn't sell a Ngannou matchup and it'd be unethical. No one wants to see current JDS take one of Ngannou's power shots. So we get this Brazilian can instead.

Carano posted on X yesterday I think talking about how she literally dropped over 100 pounds in a year to get back into fighting shape, so I have to give her some credit. Will that make her back into any level of a formidable fighter? I dunno... But it will definitely be easy on the eyes to watch.
