Closeup replay showed that he closes his eyes in the pocket (meaning he is afraid to get hit, but also he is afraid to throw punches at someone who is also trying to hit him. When he throws a punch he looks away and shuts his eyes for long periods) You can't go anywhere in striking with this tendency. On the full fight replay Sean Sharaf never takes his eyes off Gable while trading.
You can't fix that. He is not a fighter.
The oracle. This guy called it out before he had even debuted in MMA just based on his NFL and WWE stints. Gotta admit that's clairvoyance right there.

HW hands are different. You can see in his face he is reconsidering that comeback. That could be him-- knocked out by a 12 to 1 underdog, despite having all the accolades.
I don't see Jones having any interest in fighting Hokit after the Gane Hokit on November 14th.

Especially since Hokit will likely be missing an eyeball after that fight.

I think what you missed is he lost to a guy who was about to get cut from the UFC for failing to perform.
He's buried because he's a grapist (got off on a 2019 technicality, new law passed makes it illegal to do what he did), hangs out with Jones, is coached by Jones, and doesn't seem like that great of a guy-- having failed to find tenure in the NFL and WWE.
WWE specifically requires charisma and a working understanding of the business. He didn't have it and failed to build relationships with HHH that could make something work-- this after being teased at Wrestlemania and other spotlights.
So the question is what's he bringing to MMA with his Gold Medal against 0-2 loser competition.
State law was updated and he would be convicted today.

You stand and accept the decision. D.C stood and accepted the decision after Jones knocked him out.
Like D.C. said, cry if you have to. But you accept the decision as a sportsman and a man. You let that man get his hand raised. That's MMA.
If Gable Steveson doesn't want to be an MMA fighter and do what's required and respect the rules and decorum he can fuck off.
I'm here to watch fighters that respect the rules and don't walk off like a bitch before the decision is read with the referee. I'm here to watch professional MMA.
