Finally watched the season finale. This show is so good. Hardy was fantastic and Mirren did a great job of just being a maniac. Dont see how we dont get a season 2 based on everyone involved.

Producer just said he has a more international story to tell in Season 2 and he's good to go on it.
Sounds like it would go outside of London, all over the world.
The holdup is Paramount+
Interesting tidbit is the writers originally wrote this as a Ray Donovan spinoff show, but later reworked the entire thing into Mobland. They did a bangup job considering the original script was a Ray Donovan remake-- you'd never guess.

Yeah, my only issue is that they really blew their load with this first season.
Where do you go from here? It's where shows like this get into trouble, because they're going to keep trying to up the ante to keep people "engaged." Which is always a recipe for failure.

Yeah, I already thought the Kat McAllister character was a bit much already. Don't know her story, but she's obviously involved with much bigger fish than the UK offers (her own words).
I guess we'll just wait and see. It was definitely a good first season.

Was this a Guy Ritchie show? If so, I didn't realize that. I haven't read much of the thread because I haven't watched it but I might check it out. Just kind of scan through and it looks like most of you guys are saying it's pretty good.
