Maybe so but people are tired of these dancing monkeys using press tours to spew their retarded hot takes on politics. It's a turn off especially when they are attacking the base that watches their shitty movies.
It goes both ways.
If Pedro Pascal tweeted that men shouldn't be playing in women sports he would go from hollywood darling to persona na grada overnight. Granted with his track record he would be given the oppurtunity to publicly apologize for his "blasphemy", but if he refused the humiliation ritual he would be crucified.

Grossing a million bucks in a wide theater release doesn't math. That would be something expected for a movie without a known name.
Reacher is in the most popular shows of all time-- and he's the lead. You have to be able to do more than 1,000 dollars per theater if you are the face of a popular franchise as an action star.

It had a solid cast and nice concept but it just doesn't work I guess. The soundtrack was decent but in the end it's just a movie to fall asleep to. They story is just very basic and having it silent really doesn't work. It could have been a silent movie done in 5 minutes
