It's a grey area, but I'm inclined to think what Wolf is doing falls on the illegal side. People who work as drivers for escorts can usually skate by because they aren't really involved in the process and it's hard to prove anything. Wolf isn't a driver, he was specifically picking up Capri for Johnny with knowledge that he was going to have sex with her for money, making him at the least an accomplice to prostitution. Now yes, that would be pretty hard to prove, and if Wolf kept his mouth shut a cop probably wouldn't get anywhere, but that's how things get going in prostitution busts. People lose their nerve and start talking to the cops when they get picked up and then people get arrested and charged.

Gavin do you realize how much violent crime is going on in the Philly/Camden area? The cops there have way bigger fucking problems than trying to run surveillance operations on some heroin addict hooker and her johns.

As for Wolf, he's just some old ass fellow-monger of J49's. The only way I can see it blowing up is if Wolf was to get the idea that J49 has money (not hard to put that together) and try to blackmail him with the wife and shit. Which could happen, but I've also said he should consider that the girls could collude for similar purposes but he hasn't and so far nothing. They'd probably rather keep riding the easy drug money train that risk getting cut off though. Wolf might not have such obstacles to consider. In general though Wolf doesn't have any motive to throw Johnny under the bus to the cops. That makes no sense.

I understand and have repeatedly said that the cops don't really seem to care about prostitution in that area. Doesn't change the fact that all it takes is one cop getting a bug up his ass and a couple arrests could happen.

Wolf and any of Johnny's girls would immediately sell Johnny out if they got pinched and were facing any kind of jail time, and the cops would be all for it because they're traditionally more interested in arresting Johns than the streetwalkers themselves. I've acknowledged that said arrest is unlikely to happen, but if it does happen J49's life is pretty much over. Even if he avoids jail time, he'll probably lose his wife and job. I've known people that have been sold out to the cops, and this was by women that are at least a couple steps classier than drug addicts walking the Camden stroll. None of that matters when it comes down to getting out of jail time.

the cop pulled her out and talked to her, then he talked to me, wrote me a ticket for a taillight and sent us on our way, no crime was committed, and neither of us panicked,
unless its a sting, its really hard to prove,
i used to drive thru camden twice a day, now i don't even go there
Wolf was helping Jaime over a year ago and even pulled off a threesome with her and her mother (so he says), hes not the FBI or an undercover, he doesnt text, he has my phone number thats it, he doesnt need money,

It's not speculation of your demise, it's an objective assessment of the unquestionable fact that you have opened yourself to more risk when what you're doing is already risky. The fact that you dodged a bullet years back seems to have just made you cocky/feel invincible instead of making you more circumspect. The bottom line is you got incredibly lucky that you happened to pick up a street-walker that not only knew what to say to the cops but had the presence of mind to coach you on what to say too. I'd say 9 times out of 10 you would have gotten arrested that day.

Dude chill out! No one is getting arrested. You're making it sound like they're terrorist bomb makers. Even if J49 were to get busted banging one of his AIDS infested hookers by a patrolling cop, all they would give him is a slap on the wrist. Aka misdemeanor.

Well right off the top of my head, if Wolf took Capri across state lines it's a federal offense. In fact, any time Johnny sent her money for bus fare to come visit him, if that's across state lines (I can't remember where J49 said he moved to) that was probably a federal offense too.

And I never said he'd rot in jail, I said his life would be ruined. He'd probably end up divorced and be lucky to get supervised visitation rights if his wife was feeling particularly vindictive, and he there's a good chance he would get fired from the job that he embezzles from to pay for his hookers.

It's an odd area.. At least where he started. It's on the border of Camden and another township(GMT), there are piers there so truckers are always sitting on the road near the highway. There is a bridge that literally acts as the border.. I think both police forces pretty much don't want ownership of that border unless it's something other than prostitution related. The girls literally used to jump from truck to truck.. They see cops and they wave, heh..It just so happens that the access road to Camden(Broadway) is also used to traffic drugs. It's like Zombie land and I think both departments focus on that.
