doubtful. The complaints weren't just that its bad, but also that its offensively false history.

indeed. I imagine there is a world where its a solid movie. solid direction, etc.... except... he took a real world event, with actual documentation, and rewrote history into a modern feminist lens. Again, so the two male versions of the story are actual real documents, which are altered to increase the wifes participation. and then completely invented the wifes side of the story..

this is evil.
I didn't make it through the whole thing.
