I don't know if the person got it or not but if I had to guess they don't get the hypocrisy of that with all the cancel culture and probably hate any white person voicing anything other that a white male

The Chronicles of Narnia is really special in my family. It was the first book series my mum read with me as a child and they were the first ones I read with my son.

I genuinely have no idea how they’ve come to the conclusion that this is what The Magician’s Nephew should look like on screen but I’m cautiously optimistic!

never read the books thought it was about a british fag who hides in a closet, trailer looked good though

wonder how much stairway to heaven costs for a trailer, that was pretty banging if cliche

big fan of the Narnia movies, but almost zero interest in watching this

jimmy page met gerwig and is a fan. don't know if he alone controls it, as she said she had written plant and page, but he was happy she wanted to use the song. they have famously denied others from using it. Almost Famous had a scene based completely around the song that had to be cut. they wouldn't even let wayne's world play the opening cords.

Yeah, I love The Chronicles of Narnia...read them all multiple times as a kid and at least once as an adult. This is giving me A Wrinkle in Time vibes from the preview, though. I think the only time we've seen anything other than the first 3 books (by the original order) was the BBC versions...and I think that was just The Silver Chair.

It's been like 40 years since I read these books - wasn't Magicians Nephew the prequel book that gives the backstory of the old dude the kids visit during the war in the 1st book? I remember virtually nothing about the book itself

Only book I remember pretty well was Voyage of the Dawntreader - that was probably my favorite of the series as a kid

Yeah, that's the one.

Voyage of the Dawntreader was my favorite, as well. The Horse and His Boy was probably the worst. I like The Last Battle and The Magician's Nephew, but Voyage of the Dawntreader and The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe were the two books I read the most as a kid.
