Great looking and filmed on location. No CGI or green screens. Pacing is a problem. Great setup bogged down by stuff like 2-3 minutes to go through a doorway, 5 minuets to climb a ladder in the "finale".

It's one thing to linger on faces for tension, but there are scenes with the actresses back turned taking 30-40 seconds to proceed through an open doorway arch-- which would be fine in the beginning, but for this genre you gotta have faster pacing in the finale. Almost got shut off despite having a decent story hook and good acting. A finale should feel like a finale, and this went for something else. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone due to the pacing sucking the life out of the final scenes. They should have goosed it and instead the foot dragged the brakes all the way until credits rolled. My friend tapped out, voicing mutually shared frustration that this needs to wrap up, fast. Almost shout-at-the-screen level of frustration in the last 15 mins.

the family was really boring, constance wu doesn't look hot no more, the husband is like the faggiest pocket protector stereotype, i lost interest, ff'd and i guess ai is bad, we would rather have alien overlords?
