I bought a fungi staff so its useful for casters too. Debating between necro playing regenned taptank for the lulz, or a cleric.
If memory serves correct there is a pretty high level restriction on the fungi staff. 46 or higher? I've never owned the prenerf version however, maybe it's unrestricted.

Nah there's no restriction on it, the downside of it is it breaks SoW on use and snares you.

Need some jboots to go with that staff lol

Nope. Pre-nerf version basically is allowable from inventory by all/all. Postnerf limits to Druid / Shaman only on equip.

The regrowth effect is the same in that it acts like a snare + 15hp/tic regen. The snare component instantly drops SoW / jboots.

It's been a few months since enforced raid rotations started on Ragefire and Lockjaw. During this time, player response to raid rotations has been mixed. Some parts of this rotation may have increased access to content for players and guilds. Unfortunately, this also created situations where some players could create situations that excluded other players from accessing content that they would normally be able to enjoy with a few of their friends.

After many discussions with the team, we believe ending enforced raid rotations is in the best interest of the progression server community. We appreciate that players and guilds are working together to share the raid content on their servers, and we encourage you to continue to talk and compromise with the players on your servers. We believe players can resolve disputes about camps and raid bosses between each other. Game Masters and Guides will not be able to assist in negotiating disputes between players and guilds.

As mentioned in the first announcement on this, the player community we have in EverQuest is something that makes us unique and special. While you explore Norrath and compete for raid bosses, remember that we're all part of the same community that enjoys playing EverQuest together. As the communities on Ragefire and Lockjaw continue to develop, there's a great deal of value in working to get along with the other players on your server.

We appreciate everyone's support during the enforced raid rotation experiment on Ragefire and Lockjaw. If you have questions about EverQuest Rules of Conduct, you can get more information in the knowledge base article here.

So, the same thing they said it would before it started.

The entire idea of having a rotation in EQ is a fucking laugh. Hey guys lets raid once a month for the next six months. A few of us might get a piece of gear out of it.

Why would you compete over raid mobs when you can't hit the faggots in the guild next to you? #never played bluebie quest.

I got a fungi stuff, used jboots, confirmed slow still there after jboots. Ya it removes buff, ya you can reapply jboots but no you dont really move noticabely faster than without jboots while having the regen
