I think the Vikings are contenders next year. Their roster and coach are staying put and they have room in free agency to plug gaps next season. The Packers remain their biggest obstacle, though.

I was saying all offseason that Monte Kiffin was the biggest reason they were historically bad and they had a shot to be below average with a competent DC.

Yes its not back to back seasons, its that he's the first player to ever have multiple 20+ sack seasons, which is a much bigger accomplishment, especially so early in his career.
