All the stadiums that use natural grass should take a note from the Bucs groundskeepers. Place is hot year round and rains like a motherfucker, yet it's consistently one of the best fields in the league.

The hardest part about growing grass in Florida is finding water, if you're a multi-billion dollar organization that shouldn't be a problem.

I'm not sure about the other teams with fucked up grass, but FedEx field ends up hosting all kinds of events and college games during the season. It really thrashes the field.

And yeah, no shit they can grow grass there awesome. The rest of the country has this thing called seasons though, where it's a bit harder to grow things (disregard my current location; I grew up in Maryland).

Being that we don'tneedto play on the real thing anymore I don't see why it all has to be green. I think like Boise State's blue rug is pretty obnoxious and hard to look at but it doesn't seem to be a problem so why not team colors all over the NFL? /waits for purple field with black lines

I'm not sure about the technology specifics, just guessing here, that the green is going to stay. With the greenscreen technology, one might think it would be easier to advertise, put up graphics like the first down yellow stripe, etc.

I'm sure they'll figure out how to advertise on the fields regardless of color, though. I can't stomach watching a Boise game, it gives me a headache.

Ben overthrew everyone. We thought he was trying to kill Wheaton. I'm glad the preseason is meaningless, because otherwise this game would have boded very ill.

When Bell whiffed on catching a tipped ball early I heard at least 7 different people at the bar make jokes about him being stoned.

edit: One of the Steelers biggest fanschimes inwith a strong take.
