Pats create more match up issues in coverage than GB does in my opinion. They get by on Rodgers and the platoon of decent wideouts who normally get so much time to get open with Rodgers buying time in and out of the pocket. Gronk will account for more yards by himself than Rodgers had all night in all likelihood.
Brady's going to get sacked at MJ levels

Disappointing, but not unexpected. McFatty is legendarily bad as a motivator, especially after a bye week. GB Packers- squandering HOF QB talent since 1997. Good thing our division sucks and our cap space is over twenty mil again or we might have actually gotten a good linebacker or tight end in the off season......
Claims the pack will go 15-1 this year, then after they lose says he knew they were overrated.

I just have to point out that they can still go 15-1, and this is coming from the guy who claimed this was the best Cowboys team ever, then after everyone points out that may be...an exaggeration...says everyone knew he meant best team they've had around Romo.

Broncos defense is fucking crazy. No Nelson, no Lambeau, way too much for Rodgers to overcome. Ware will butt fuck Brady, it will be a really good game. Hopefully the NFL sweeps the opposing teams locker rooms like the Pats asked. Don't want any suspicious behavior!

We miss you Tony. Stop making Crownies, we need you back.

I hate the Pats but I don't think there is a chance in hell Denver beats them. Manning needs to actually play well and throw touchdowns to beat the Pats. Manning is currently playing the worst of his career and you can't scrape out wins against the Pats playing terribly like you can against the crap teams he has been beating.

Broncos looked really good. And the Packers looked like shit.

The Packers got exposed, plain and simple. The Green Bay offense runs almost entirely isolation routes. They spread the receivers out and force man coverage, because Rodgers will shred a zone and it doesnt provide enough pressure on him. Those Iso Routes are predicated that somewhere someone is going to beat a defender and Rodgers can extend the play long enough with his legs to make the play. Usually works. Except Green Bays receivers suck this year and Denver was able to single cover them all and have incredible athletes stopping Rodgers from dancing around.

Play man vs the Patriots and they will destroy you. First and foremost, Brady is not Rodgers. Brady is getting rid of the ball on an average of 2.1 seconds a throw. He makes his plays before the ball is snapped. Second reason is that Edelman, Amendola, Lafell and Lewis are 4 of the best man coverage beaters in the NFL. Bunch formations, rub routes, tons of motion, crossing routes.. ect. It is the exact opposite of the Green Bay offense. Green Bay never runs motion and their receivers all are working far away from each other to give Rodgers time to read and make plays. The third reason is Gronkowski. How do you man him up? Whatever you do, you are taking 1 or 2 possible pass rushers away from getting pressure on Brady. The Patriots understand Gronk doesn't need to catch 1 ball to dominate a game. Double him up? Great, he is also a great run blocker and you have two players defending a guy down blocking on a third. Oh yeah... watch out for play action. Whatever way you choose to cover him, you are wrong and the Patriots offense is built to make you pay for it. And even if you cover him perfectly, he still can probably get free and make the play.

Doesnt mean Denver wont win, just means that you shouldn't expect what happened to Green Bay to happen to New England. They are two completely different animals.

btw... Brady is 7-0 vs #1 ranked defenses.

the funny part about #1 ranked defenses is that after Brady beats them, there's another #1 ranked defense. then its as if he hasnt beaten "the" #1 ranked defense... HE JUST DID THIS. The outcome will not change.

Rogers is an excellent QB overall, but ya...last night wasn't his best. Their coaching staff sucks as well.

Pats are a different beast. NFL is probably giddy they will get at least one more meaningful Manning-Brady Bowl.

the mvp race this year is gonna come down to who doesn't have a game like last night. seems Brady & Dalton remain. Although the red rocket didnt exactly light it up yesterday

Brady has to face the Broncos & Jets again

Brady had 288 yards against the Steelers and Dalton had 231. Neither had a particularly amazing game. Pats scored more and were leading which may effect Brady's yardage.

Honestly Freeman should be the MVP. Dude is doin work. Falcons have the leading rusher and leading receiver. Things I never thought I would ever see....

Freeman is nowhere close to being the most valuable player in the NFL.

Also that week 1 steelers / pats game means nothing for either team in telling you who would win a rematch imo. No team ever has been the same team in the divisionals/afccg as they were in week 1, and both teams made dumb mistakes and played vanilla in that game imo.

Good analysis L2 but we can't forget that the Pat's O-Line is held together with scotch tape and dreams right now. That's going to be a factor.
