Should be a good finish. I'm honestly a little relieved to not have the stress of thinking about playoff implications and must-win scenarios this year, I can just kick back and enjoy the show. If we could get back to winning again next year that would be great too though.
6 teams within a game of the AFC wild card spots (including Chiefs and Texans), and 5 within a game of 2nd wild card in the NFC (Including Seattle). Shit is going to be fun.

The spotter is an unaffiliated doctor (? just trained?) who is responsible for pulling off players. From what I read the Rams doctors concluded he did not have a concussion (fuckin lol but they're paid by the Rams) and the spotter decided since they decided he didn't get a concussion he must be a-ok and it is perfectly normal for humans to ragdoll. The spotter done fucked up. He should have pulled off Case to do his own investigation.
Here is a quote from the NFL website -

The ATC spotter does not diagnose any injuries or suggest treatment, but simply alerts the team's medical personnel to a potential injury, as well as describing how the injury happened when possible.
Once the team doctor has seen the patient, the Spotters job is over.

You know what, fuck the draft. If we can beat Pittsburgh at home, hopefully fucking up their playoff hopes, and steal a late one from Cinci (probably be starters resting but fuck it), then at least we took it to the division pretty well all things considered.

I'm kind of hoping for the ultimate dumpster fire division finish... entire NFCE ends up at 7-9.
We all want to see the Giants in the playoffs at 7-9 to eventually beat NE in the superbowl. How else could this season possibly go? Its destiny.

Assuming Kelly gets shit canned (or runs back to college by his own free will) this off season where do you think he ranks in the most failed college -> pro coaches?

All things considered... not that bad actually. He actually had a couple of seasons of success. Much better than Sabin and Petrino, not as good as Sneaky Pete or Switzer.

I have to deduct points from him for his greatest success coming from prior to fully implementing "his system." Once he got his players and ran his system it was a complete and utter failure.

Funny he mentions Switzer but not Johnson who really was the architect behind the success Switzer inherited. Possibly because he knows Johnson is probably the best college -> pro coach so he didn't even mention it.

Since we decided to kind of get our shit together and win last week I'm hoping for a Cowboys like hope to go 8-8 for a wildcard spot. But I know that's unrealistic and the Chargers will probably end up 4-12 or 5-11.

I think the Bengals are going to be playing for a first round bye all the way into Week 17. I doubt starters will be resting.

I thought that went without saying. Went from 1-15 in his first year to Champion in 4 years after orchestrating the greatest trade robbery in the history of the game. If Jerry could have kept his mouth shut who knows how far that would have gone. Even with his (relative) failure in Miami he's the best.

That shit will be locked up already, especially after you drop another game or two down the stretch.

Philly might as well stick with Chip at this point. The offseason moves he made last year have utterly fucked them for the foreseeable future. No coach worth a shit will want to take that over, especially with no draft picks and cap room to work with. Better to strip him of GM rights and let him eat shit from the fans for two more years while his stupidity works itself out.

I would like nothing more than for Chip to find himself in a situation where he's been neutered. But I don't want to be subjected to the potential for a resurgence and the multitude "Chip is a genius" media fellating that would follow. Just let him leave and have the Eagles move on to the next shit coach. Ooh, maybe they've give Josh McDaniels a second chance.
