Hearing Isles made a 3 year offer to Nelson but he wanted more term and maybe more $$. 7 teams inquiring about him. I want the Caps to go for it and get him. Could bump Eller to wing with Mangiapane and that's a nice 3rd line until Ryan Leonard signs after BC's season is over and slots in 3RW there. Plus that this point if Strome or PLD got hurt we'd be forced to play Eller in the top 6 and roster Sgarbossa or Lapierre.

Walman supposedly going to Edmonton. The Wings paying a 2nd to get rid of him still baffles me. There was some speculation that he was getting lazy or there being some other personality problem, but that move still looks bad.

Bjorkstrans first as a bolt in the first game, with Gourde assist, a Guentzel hatty and Vasy redeeming himself in the 3rd period after an awful first two isn't exactly how Id want this night to go after the trade, but I'll take it.

Luckily Buffalo beat themselves with two tip ins by defenseman. An ugly win but you take those

Like the Avs moves so far, aside this Brock Nelson deal last night.

Giving up Calum and a first rounder seems like alot of youth for a 34 year old player.

Gives me a feeling that there might be a deal moving Middlestadt. Still time left today, or in an off season move.

Just not sure where Nelson fits in without major shifts in the 2/3/4 lines.

Welp didn't think I could hate Florida even more but now they have Seth Jones at a good price and Marchand. I hope the stadium is overrun by rats.

Also Raantaa 12 mil a year for 8 is crazy.

Felt like we did nothing, 2nd for Beau seems like massive overpay for something that barely moves the needle. We could have used maybe a depth center pickup, have plenty of spare wingers we could try in the lineup. Everyone else loading up. Do not have high hopes of going very far unless Ryan Leonard comes in hot.

No idea why the Sharks traded Zetts for that shitty haul. I'm guessing he told Grier that he didn't intend to re-sign or it was that he just wanted too much. Sucks. We have an assload of picks at least. Gonna be an interesting draft yet again.
