Shit is rough because I feel like we played like shit for a lot of this series, not that Carolina didn't deserve it, but closer than it ended up being. Didn't finish well enough at all, but man LT let in some random soft goals the last few games (was good the first 2 games at home, since then not so much). That sounds weird to say in what was essentially a 2-1 elimination game, but how is that the goal that ends up sending you home?
Shit going to sting for a bit, even if future looks pretty good with our cap situation and prospects we have in the pipeline. Just don't think we played our best hockey in this series, and could have put up more of a fight.

In the moment they'd want the Panthers to lose, and for the Leafs to come out on top for once.
In a few months they will regret it if the Leafs actually do win the cup. Oh you thought putting up with with a small fan base like the Panthers was hard to deal with after they won the cup? Wait until Toronto wins and their fan base redefines the meaning of the word "Insufferable" for the next 10 months.
Pretty sure most of them are hoping the Leafs knock out the Panthers, and the Canes will knock out the Leafs, but...
