Not going to lie, this year's Caps team is a lot of fun to root for. Ovi going down sucks b/c he was so hot, but the team doing this well is funny considering how lazy all the national media was in reporting on us all summer about how the team was only built to let Ovechkin chase the record the next two years.

I will not be surprised in the slightest if extensions for Logan Thompson and Chychrun come through before the end of the season.

Game felt destined for OT, kinda unlucky to get the double minor there with 4 min to go which led to the game winner. Obviously sucks for Strome who likely won't be eating much other than mashed potatoes tomorrow, but wasn't intentional or anything.

At least he's only listed day to day. I know in the NHL that could mean anything, but doesn't sound too serious at all.

Sharks playing some good hockey lately. Definitely feel like we let some opportunities to score a few more in regulation go wanting last night, but Sharks played a pretty solid road game, especially in the latter half of it.
