Wrap this shit up and put these clowns out of their misery. This PP is pathetic. Hey guys lets just pass it around the boards and never move. Fucking lazy shitters. They don't deserve the cup let a lone this series.

Montreal going to be a team to watch next couple years. Some good young studs. If they can get another reliable scoring line to go with their top line, they are going to be a handful and in short order.

Caps played a nice game for the most part, sat back a little once up 3-0, but on a better night they probably score a few more with all those chances in the first 40 minutes. Carolina going to be a tough series, they're playing very well. Nice to get Protas back tonight.

Grats to the Caps, it was a fun series, good luck on the rest of the way.

Overall, I’m super happy with Montreal season, we were not expected to make the playoffs but we did, so that alone is a win. What’s more important though is the development of the young guys. I think we have a solid foundation with the likes Suzuki, Canfield, Slavkosky, Ghule, Hutson and Demidov.

We desperately need a second line center though, especially to help in the development of Demidov who has shown some great potential, he needs to get used to smaller rink and more physical play of nhl.

I think we have a decent defensive group, with some good prospect still. Still young and prone to mistakes but good potential.

Future looks bright.

Yeah a solid 2C and second danger line was be so huge. I know we tried to line match hard v Suzuki while at home (3-0 in DC, 1-1 up there where MSL had match up control). Demidov with a 2C could really make you guys super dangerous. Think you have two 1sts this year, too? Big to get some more talent that hopefully fast tracks to NHL. I don't think either Florida team or Toronto is going away anytime soon, nor is Ottawa. Playoff spots are going to be a BATTLE in the Atlantic, and probably East as a whole next season. But Montreal clearly on the upswing.

Kinda funny Toronto is the last team in the East trying to close out their series. Please give us a Game 7 back in Toronto hockey gods...even if they manage to win it. Asses will be pinching holes in their seats.

The winner of Tampa / Florida was likely the East representative for the finals IMO. It's just kind of unfortunate they're meeting in the first round. Yeah Tampa could make some improvements, but Florida is a bad matchup for them and also a wagon right now.

Ottawa would probably make for a better series because Toronto will just get manhandled. This isnt me being a cocky Panthers fan, but just looking at the body of work of both teams in the playoffs and realizing there isn't some magical switch that Toronto could flick to be the team that can beat Florida.

Now I'm cooled off and less depressed allow me to give my view of the series. In two words. Skill diff. Tampa was never going to win this series without a miracle. Panthers are built to win a system game with extremely high skilled players. They. Don't. Make. Mistakes. Bob is a mother fucker and Barkov plays the whole ice. Their D never gives up in front of the crease. Forsling will go down as the greatest waiver pickup in recent history.

Now onto the losers. Inexperience and no discipline at the blue line hurt us bad. The amount of times Florida sneaked a single guy all alone in front of Vasy is beyond unacceptable. Breakdowns in the defensive zones were too common. Lazy clears, lazy passes. These are things that should have been addressed. The PP didn't adapt once. Being so committed to the right side and never once changing it up. Isaw them play the left tons of times during the regular season but they got a mental blocker and just kept doing the same fucking thing. Also trading for Bjork and then him being hurt because you want to push hard for home ice advantage was a bone headed move.

Oh well hopefully we can actually learn from this loss this time. I think we played better then last year. If you look at the stats this series was actually very even. It's just key breakdowns and Bob doing Bob things swung the favor.

Toronto defeated the first round! Biggest rivals in NHL history. I guess we will see how they get handled. It's going to be a physical series.

I legit don't know how to feel about Leafs-Panthers because I'm biased as a Panthers fan, and this year could be the year the Leafs finally overcome the 2nd round? They say that every year and it doesn't happen though...

Panthers in 6?

They were due after 2 bad bounces last game.

Dallas had some luck on their side also, you make is sound one sided.

Two posts by the Avs, and a Dallas goal off an Avs players shin pads.
