Hope the guy is ok. Looks more like incidental contact after he was already losing an edge. Tough to feel sorry for Vegas after all the zebra loving they get year after year.

lol you can stop with that inward angle, turns out when a stick's blade takes your foot out when you're trying to stop like that it comes off to people as "losing your edge". Vegas is down a defenseman now but "it's just playoff hockey" so it is what it is right.

Unfortunately tons of calls like that. Then they get people like domi for cross checking on something like the below. It's the chaos I don't like. And it's not just between the games, it's stuff in the game where they let them play then they get super strict. There's no consistency in the calls. Actually I take that back, as a spectator I love the chaos. All you fans still in this shit... its gotta suck lol.

Kinda felt like Svech went down pretty easily after essentially setting a pick. Although it wasn't the straight up knock down one of our guys away from the play or who was chasing the puck, but I wouldn't have been too upset if he got a minor there (Wilson, I mean).
It's always pretty wishy washy, but as long as it's consistent bs, don't usually have an issue with it. Like in Game 1, they gave each team a PP pretty early in the 3rd, but then put the whistles away despite some really obvious trips/hooks/etc. But then just over 2 minutes to go, Chychrun gets stick up high and catches Carolina player (wasn't bad, but it was a high stick) and they call it. In general given everything else they had not called, felt like they shouldn't ding that up, either. If it's some obvious scoring chance where a guy gets hauled down, 100%. Sadly delay of game and such are automatic and have to get called, usual really bad hit or whatever all get called.
Just want it consistent, either make it obvious basic penalties are going to be let go, or call everything.

Na, I believe that move is called "The Can Opener". You put your stick in front of one leg, and behind the other, then take the far leg out from under the skater. But technically it's the skaters fault because his left shin hits your stick and knocks your blade into his right skate. He went in from the left and took the right foot out pushing it forward. Dirty shit.

He either needs to win a cup, or we're gonna find out later where he hid a bunch of bodies...

Did they just not call a single thing when someone opened the face of the single best player in the league? Did I see that right?
I'm seeing an alarming number of things getting called that shouldn't, combined with things not getting called that should this year. And that's not just me talking about the Stars, it seems to be across almost every series, and seems to be happening more than I'm used to.

Not saying it's not entertaining, and not saying I won't be happy if the Caps are eliminated before the finals, but...Again, as a spectator I'm entertained.
