Hell will freeze over if Vancouver ever does a true rebuild.

We have too many vets signed long term with full no moves. We're gonna be mid for a long time.

Also, is Quinn Hughes so underrated? I was reading enough hate over on the wild fan social media about what they had to give up for one player.

It's probably them being worried he'll just walk after next season. In that case, it is a hell of a lot to give up for just 2 playoff runs, even with a superstar like Quinn.

I think if Hughes had 5+ years left in his deal they would be thrilled. Lots of people think he’s going to go to jersey as soon as he’s a ufa.

That's the sentiment I'm getting reading all the Wild posts.

Central division is going to be an even worse bloodbath. You now have the 3-5 of the best D man in the league in that division.

Many ankles will be broken.

Caps offense so hot and cold. Can't score to save our lives every so often for a few games, then it'll be 3 or 4+ every night for awhile.

Caps really need to look hard at trading for some offensive help in the top 6. I know we have more prospects coming, but if they can find a guy with some term that isn't 35+ they should look at it.

Sunrise rivalry still alive and well. We won tonight but if all the Panthers didn't get sucked up into the Zamboni is it really a win?

Well shit, not bad. Seems the leagues "last, best offer" that was rejected could be improved upon after all. I have season tickets to the Adirondack Thunder and they will have to reschedule 3 games, only one of which was at home.

Going to be driving to Pittsburgh for the Pens-Wings game on New Years. Maybe my Pens fan buddy will actually be able to see then Pens score with him in the building. Last year I took him to the home opener for his first live NHL game and the Rags shut them out.
