I feel like Avs lost on coaching. Top guys trying to do too much and started spiraling. Bednar let it get away from them and didn't really reign it in. Very similar to how McDavid feels like he has to put the whole team on his back and the coach doesn't try to reel it in. Probably a stupid opinion and not right at all but that's how I feel.
Not saying that Torts won that or anything either. Just felt like this Avs wasn't the same one we saw earlier for some reason.

I doubt my Habs are going to beat Carolina, we are being dominated, we barely touch the puck. Thanks to Dobes the games are still tight and going into OT.
It looks like our 2 pretty difficult series of 7 is catching up to us, players seem to lack some spring to their skating and always late on plays.
I'm still proud of the team, we're young, good contracts, signed long term. Future is bright.

My ex-wife and I were obsessed with hockey during this time and I had lived in Colorado when the Nordiques moved there. We watched both of these games as they happened on TV and couldn't believe it as it was happening. The rematch game was the most violent game I've ever seen in a lifetime of being a hockey fan and playing at a shitty level. Showed video to a few people at work today much younger than me and their faces said it all lol. RIP Claude, one of the best agitators of all time.
