Game legit looks like shit, shit story line, shit everything

one of those ' you have to play as a new character half the game, one which you don't give a shit about ' games after 10+ years this is the crap they put out

They still can't do better than the first NG game on Xbox, pathetic.

Rustled cause I was hoping itd be good. Not a big souls like gamer, but i like action games like dmc.
I'm in the same boat, this feels more like NG3 more than the classic hit NG on the original XBox. I think if you enjoy this type of game, you'll probably still find this fun, but I really enjoyed the effort they put into the story in the first game. This new guy also has the aesthetics of a KPOP boy band member and there's a fight going down in South Korea. Over a decade, this just seems under cooked to me.

Yeah I just can't be bothered to give a shit. The first was a very stylish and uniquely appealing game for it's time, sort of like a linear Ninja focused Dark Souls before that became a thing. I remember being blown away by it's graphics on the original Xbox and how it was sort of the ultimate challenge bragging rights game to get through. The sequel did a good job of continuing it and the third game sort of finished that franchise as far as my interest goes.

Now I look at this and it's like I'm just over this shit. If I want to play some Ninja Gaiden I'll go back and play the originals, as far as new games are concerned this just isn't my type of thing anymore.

On a related topic although the gameplay is different because it's more like a continuation of the original Ninja Gaiden series on older consoles, Ninja Gaiden Ragebound just came out and it's really great. It's the same developpers as Streets of Rage 4 and TMNT Shredder's Revenge, so it's beautiful pixel art with smooth animations throughout. I've only done a few levels so far but it's a joy to play, so if you want a good Ninja Gaiden game (but not 3D combat), there's that.

Same. Also the first game is the only one that has actual cinematics, everything else is just some shitty cut scene running on the in-game engine, which is just sheer laziness. I don't think they're ever going to match the atmosphere of the first game, even the sound track was incredible, I still listen to it today.

Saw that one, it does look like some old school 2d fun. SR4 was also really good stuff. Haven't looked into TMNT Shredder's Revenge though, I'll give that a peek at some point.

Shredder's Revenge is the best TMNT game since Turtles in Time back on SNES, it's a love letter to the old TMNT cartoon, features basically every character imaginable and has had several (rather low-priced) DLC that add even more characters to play including some fan favorites like Mondo Gecko and Usagi Yojimbo, plus new game modes. Very very solid game if you like side-scrolling beat them all's.

reminder he had DA: Trannyguard as the best in the series and his game of the year. I don't watch any of his shit anymore. I'd rather take Fextralife and their autoplay twitch vids.

Looks like the typical silly plot but cool fast action gameplay. Reminds me of MGS Revengeance, but not at $70

I guess I didn't see his review of that stupid game, but maybe I need to watch it. I still think he does a pretty good job reviewing stuff, but he definitely has gotten to the point where he's getting paid to go to studios and getting free copies and all that jazz, and I have to fast forward through most of his reviews at this point because it's just a slog.

He's still better than a lot of the reviewers out there that have to shoehorn in horrible edgy jokes like that ACG beardo. I don't think that fat fuck has ever picked up a hammer in his life, but he's got a beard so you better believe what he says!

There does too many goddamn retards doing a video game reviews and commentating and whatever, and it's no different than food channels. That's why I've gravitated towards professional chefs that are in retirement and just doing it because of their love and joy of cooking, and I don't need some dip shit who punches and kicks a refrigerator at the ascent of every one of his videos to justify his viral content or stupid ass recipe.

I both hate and love YouTube, but if I honestly had a choice...

That Dunkey vid pretty well captures what I hate about a lot of these games. All the tutorials, well into the game, because they created so many complex systems and mechanics that you constantly need a bunch of shit explained to you. Thing is, games like that are basically impossible to take a break from because if you stop playing it for a while and try to get back into it, it's way too easy to just forget about all that complex shit and struggle to get back into the game.

Can't say I care about youtuber opinions anyways, too many of those reviewers are just as bad as the gaming site journalists where they will go soft on games, try to be positive and kiss ass because they want to keep getting early access to games.
