Amiibos don't really do anything useful in this, it's not like BotW. They all give the exact same reward, basically the same loot you'd get from smashing half a dozen pots. Only time I've used one is when I ran out of arrows hunting poes and didn't feel like going back to the store to buy more.

The Zelda Notes app is really useful though, I highly recommend installing that (ideally on a tablet, it's a bit awkward on a phone) just for the checklist of things you missed in each zone. In-game only shows what you found, not how many total there are.

OOC already running at 120 fps (60 fps in other spots) on a 5090 using 10 GB of VRAM lol

thats extremely unoptimized though, everyone expects it to be running at smooth 60 fps on pretty much any PC in a week or so. It stutters a lot apparently right now due to shader caches but the emulators will allow them to be shared so it should get precompiled/shared soon enough.

This is amazing, please keep this thread updated with any progress. I have the ROM but haven't tried setting up any emulators yet, because I doubt it would be a good play experience on my 3070 right now.

edit: also to note, this video is not being played on an emulator. It's a program called Hookshot that translates the game code to C and recompiles it run natively on Windows/Linux.
