Yeah, you're right. I buy so few first party games that I forgot Nintendo was still using actual cards for their own stuff.
Still probably worth buying from Amazon instead when it shows up there. There's a possibility that it'll be $10 cheaper like Fire Emblem, etc. and it will definitely ship a hell of a lot faster.

Don't see why it wouldn't, Nintendo and Amazon stopped fighting a long time ago. Should be the foil edition for all stores too. I guess I might as well pre-order it too, I'm a sucker for limited edition physical releases and it's actually coming a week earlier than expected. Didn't want to bother with only one week before GTA 6, but two should be plenty.
I've also, um.... never actually played Ocarina of Time before.

Physical preorder is up on Amazon now. No $10 discount, not sure if they'll update the price later or what. Star Fox got the discount up until release day so it's not only limited to the retarded $80 games like Fire Emblem, hopefully just a mistake in the rush to get the listing online.

For something this big it should show up on release day as promised, especially if you've already put in the order this early. Worst case, like my Trails in the Sky 2nd preorder for next week that I only placed a few days ago, it'll arrive one day after release.

The Kokiri clothes appear to be made from a leafy fabric so that kind of explains the watery sheen. Skin looks fine to me for water effects, so does the hair.

Nah, it's got nothing to do with price (aside from the fact that carts aren't exactly cheap to produce so there's a physical "tax" and games usually end up being more expensive than on eshop or other platforms). It's just whether or not the game is published by shitbags, and rare cases where the game doesn't fit.
Carts only hold 64GB, so FF VII Rebirth had no choice since the game is a ridiculous 91GB on Switch 2. Square is an asshole company though, so even if the game was Cyberpunk size (60GB, and a real physical cart) they still would have shipped a GKC. All their other games that are much less than 64GB are GKCs, only two even had upgrade packs for the Switch version, and I don't think any of them allow save transfers.
Not sure why Pokopia is a GKC, I guess Nintendo doesn't count them as a 'first party' as far as their policy of shipping real carts goes since they only own a third of The Pokemon Company and I guess Game Freak has the final say.
The whole thing is retarded and pointless. GKCs are just a digital copy that forces you to use the cart as a dongle when you could just have a key and never have to worry about it.
