Hall of Fallen Foes is a pretty cool addition to the original game, I always liked browsing through enemies to learn more about them in games, and making it a sort of museum-like actual place is cool. Boss Rematch is also nice.
I hope they've kept a few things under wraps, subtle changes and stuff. I think they should have some DLC later that adds the Master Quest where they could add the Temple of Light that was originally cut and have you find the Triforce which wasn't in the original game at all (despite persistent rumors to the contrary).

In my opinion, LttP is one of the greatest games of all time and should be left untouched. It still holds up today.

OoT of time technically predated those I think. In general I wasn’t a huge first person fan. Then no idea what stopped me from the early fallout games. Other than not having a pc at the time. Then when I did get it all I played was d2 and maybe some unreal tournament but even then I didn’t care for fps. Just a bad time. 1996-2000. I was more interested in college and girls.

Yeah that was pretty much the deal. I didn't have a Nintendo 64, not a lot of time back then either. Gaming picked back up around 1999.

I recently sold my year old Legion Go 2 for $1300 on FB Marketplace because I was tired of it just sitting there collecting dust because I barely play it. Paid a little over $1400 last year when I bought it do I didn't lose tons of money on it. I went to Gamestop bought a Switch 2 because Bestbuy was out of stock. I pre-ordered Zelda OoT remake along with Final Fantasy Resonance from BB and bought the FF 1-6 Pixel remastered game for $47 from Walmart online. I've only beaten A link to the Past on the Snes (when it first came out) and haven't played any of the other Zelda games. I haven't owned a Nintendo system since SNES so I got alot of catching up to do.

Somehow Nintendo has ended up arguably being the most “consumer” facing of the console boys. Steam of course is the king right now until Gabe dies and they start charging $14.99/mo to access your games because “infrastructure” and they start further abusing their monopoly. Steam collects 30% of all sales I think. They’re not necessarily always the good guys either.

Yea that's pretty much what I did. Still need to sell my steamdeck at some point though. For all of nintendo's faults their ecosystem is top notch it's like apple of the gaming world, super easy to get into. Lots of great exclusive titles, I bought switch 2 mostly to try out the xenoblade series, which from the first two alone I have gotten like 170 180 hours out of.

I guess maybe this is why you can’t bequeath steam accounts to kids in your will. We all don’t have anti-aging yachts.

My son's Switch was collecting dust so my 11yo daughter picked it up one day and wanted to use it. She was mostly just interested in Animal Crossing but somewhere down the line she started playing Breath of the Wild. Well, she ended up beating it. Proud dad moment for me. My wife played OoT back in the day and she loves that game so I thought it be fitting to get them the new remake for the switch 2. I've pre ordered game but we don't even have a switch 2 yet. I'm hoping to get the Zelda edition before Christmas so I can gift it to my daughter.
