So by now id assume everyone is familiar with the whole Die Hard is actually a Christmas movie even though its supposed to be hard action movie.

In this vain, what are you entrants into this category? Mine is American Psycho;

My wife considers the LOTR trilogy a Christmas movie because of the release date. FOTR EE is a masterpiece and her go to on Christmas Eve so I don’t question it.

Home Alone 1&2.

Movie about a couple stupid robbers getting demolished by a kid but they both take place during Christmas time. Also the decor in the house in the first one is obscene. All their wallpaper, paint, bedding, etc are full blown Christmas colors and decorations. It’s the most Christmas house that ever existed.

Plus all the music. It’s probably just considered a Christmas movie, but it’s not really about Christmas at all.

Apocalypse Now never specifically states that it doesn’t happen around Christmas so I always assumed that it did. Thus the best Christmas movie.

Does that count? They call it Life Day instead of Christmas and Lucas tried to wipe out all memory of it's existence from the face of the earth.

i know Home Alone wasnt mentioned because ts a traditional Christmas movie, but its really hard not to include Uncle Buck. its a "winter" movie and it was the inspiration for Home Alone.

We just rewatched the 3 movies extended edition, as we do every xmas.
The fx are getting old though, it's the first time i was bothered by them.
