Plot: Nathan Caine was born with the rare disorder CIPA (Congenital Insensitivity to Pain), which means he does not feel physical pain. He grew up a sheltered child, learning to blend his food so he would not unwittingly chew off his own tongue, and he learned to wear a timer to remind himself when to go to the bathroom. But when his bank is robbed and his new love taken hostage, his affliction becomes his greatest strength as he sets out to rescue her.

i am not a big fan of these Die Hard with Pussies movement hollywood seems to think people want

the gf is the chick from prey, she looks like aubrey plaza here don't hate it

It's like a gay version of Dark Man, except the protagonist is insufferably not funny versus going into a psychotic rage.

It's ok I guess? For some reason it landed in a movie theater near me (which is odd for this type of small american production, but maybe it's because there is a 4DX version?). It's reasonably entertaining, but it feels a bit like the writers don't know what to do with their basic idea, so they try a bit of everything, internal logic and stylistic coherence be damned (it does run the gammuth from cartoonish comedy to body horror).

Fun movie that doesnt take itself seriously. If you want a Crank style action movie and can just turn your brain off, this is for you.

Him needed to set an alarm to make himself go to the bathroom is pretty funny.
