They won't, as always. Leather jacket didn't say much about power consumption, it's probably going to take the 4000s to improve on that.

Im fine with a 3080, $1500 is a bit too spicey for me. Need to be able to afford a snow blower as well this winter.

Edit: A 3090 might be able to melt the snow around the house though I guess.

Hoping that big navi is actually competitive. I've played minecraft with RTX and it's nice but not that nice, massive performance problems with slowdown on a 2080TI for no apparent reason with extremely limited view distances compared to standard.

Me thinks if AMD has something competitive without ray tracing it'll sell like hot cakes because as of yet RTX has been virtually all hype.

Definitely can't wait for "leaks" from AMD. I MIGHT hold out before buying a 3080. But that price is much lower than I thought.

Has anyone played anything with DLSS 2.0? on Minecraft it looks good but it sometimes has wacky artifacts that resemble video compression. Wondering if it does that in other games.
