2nd stick tested bad stopped test as fail within a couple minutes.

Friend worried rare CPU memory controller or mobo problem as this is my second set of RAM.

Ddr4 boards still a thing, the 32gb ram is line 230-280, I hate to look at ddr5

I got some cmw32gx4m2e3200c16 I can send you free if u want. I'm pretty sure they work.
Thanks, though looks like it'd probably get destroyed in short order. If it's sacrificial guess it's another days point but I'm like 90% on this is just a total loss outside gpu

Yea, sounds like you need to start over tbh. AMD is the way to go now adays. Their cpus just dunk on intel for gaming rigs.

Yeah youre gonna pay a premium for a legacy board even if you can find one on ebay. Best is to just get a new one with new AMD chippage. If youre around a microcenter they have package deals for mop bo and ram. Shit like this... But they have tons of others...

Wasn't ASUS getting shit on around here? I went gigabyte with my newest mobo. Thing is a fucking tank that weighs like 10x my last mobo. I could beat someone to death with it pretty sure. No regrets.

I had microcenter deliver my mobo combo a year ago. No problems at all, though I made sure someone was there to pick it up.

There is nowhere in the the entire state of Oklahoma that is 12 hours from Dallas. Dallas has a Microcenter.
Ne ok so KC is 30 minutes or so closer and I hate Dallas, but yeah not quite as bad as I thought. Haven't traveled much from here, so I feel like I'm on another planet still, going back to Colorado for good car deals and my parents is certainly a haul

9070xt is a bit slower than 5070ti, not by much though but when I got mine it was also like $300 cheaper. Also fuck nvidia IMO. They are sucking AI dick now.

Nvidia is gay, but their drivers are way better than AMD. Maybe Gabe can save us from this problem one day.

Nahh that shit is old news. AMD drivers are fine. I had no problems with mine while Nvidia people are rolling theirs back and shit because they are fucked 1/2 the time.

I say this as an AMD fan who used AMD graphics cards almost exclusively until less than a year ago. Their drivers have problems, and I have experienced those problems personally multiple times.
