Office Politics

One of my professors in nursing school told me I needed to smile more; this turned out to be the best advice anyone has ever given me. Smiling and being friendly (I am not a naturally friendly person but I've learned how to pretend hah) will get you everywhere.

I -hate- office politics as I'm expected to just be "pretty" and smile. It's frustrating when small-talk can get you reprimanded.
