I am a simp for Sekiro so I will definitely play this. Just need to finish something else first. This, Pragmata, and the Bond game are the three AAA games that made my must play list this year.
Opencritic also thinks one of the worst games of this year (FH6) is the best.Reviews are in and stronger than Blood of Dawnwalker.
Surprised to hear FH6 considered one of the worst. Just curious. I’ve been interested in a casual race game. Was eyeing FH5Opencritic also thinks one of the worst games of this year (FH6) is the best.
Initially wrote this off as just another parry slop game, but it does sound a bit deeper than that. Not enough to buy it now (especially since Capcom still infects all their PC games with denuvo) but worth keeping an eye on for an Xbox sale someday.
Got ill this weekend so played through this. It's pretty good. Combat feels great, well optimized. Story meh, lots of boss and enemy re-use, nothing really "hard" and pretty short. This is a good game, 8/10 but definitely wish I'd waited to buy on discount. Nothing new here or particularly interesting, but well made with very snappy combat.
Yeah it flows great, and final boss was S tier. It was a ramp in difficulty definitely and felt good to finally beat his ass!Best part about the combat is if you play to perfection and maximum damage potential, it feels appropriately rewarding-- along with being absolute cinema.
It's up there with some of the best action combat in terms of responsiveness. Difficulty, no. But it delivers on offering multiple paths to victory against bosses.
If you want the fight to look like complete shit and just hack your way through, you can do that and win eventually. If you want the fight to look like a CGI cutscene by stepping your game up and landing every counter, including all weapon counters, then it has that in spades also. They did a great job with a middle ground.
It should be noted that anyone who wants more difficulty can unlock it NG+ as it's already a feature in the game.
