I miss the days of PokerStars and jumping into low stakes tournaments. I tried out one of the legal subscriptions sites a while back and it was web-based and terrible. What the hell is taking so long to get online poker legalized? Has anyone played on and liked any of the legal sites? I'm in MI, BTW.

I live just a few minutes from a casino so I guess I could just go there but I'd much rather do $5-$10 tournaments from the comfort of my own home than play $5/10 hands at a smoke-filled casino.

If you guys want to do some legal skill gaming to fuck around with, hop on second life and fuck around with skill gaming. No poker, though, but it's probably the only "skill game" platforms in a 3D space where you can play for real money (though the games are relatively basic). Unless you live in AZ, AR, DE, FL, KY, LA, MD, NV, SC, SD, or TN you can play. Just go to "Gaming Island" to learn about it once you are there. Pretty hard to actually make money though but some people do apparently.

I eyerolled when I saw play money, but those scheduled tournaments can get a pretty big field.

How many entrants?

I'd play real money on Stars if I could, and won't play on the sites backed by the Indian casinos. Still waiting for it to spread from New Jersey.

Wasn't huge, 51 people, but it was still entertaining.

I found I was too impatient for no limit holdem, I turned $75 into about $500 then lost it all in the matter of an hour at the $2-4 ante table.

I'm terrible at cash games and only make money in (non turbo) tournaments. Just seems like being patient and playing your position conservatively has the least amount of swings for me.

I'm just not very versatile and I find it hard to focus mainly on pot odds in cash games, and then know when it's time to leave.

"Unfortunately, online gambling laws in the United States have made things a little difficult for betting and gaming enthusiasts. Online gambling is not fully licensed " I found this info. Can be useful for u. Luckily now I can without troubles play in an online casino. For example, my favorite is this online Korean casino https://casino-korea.com. Usually, I play in some casino games such as baccarat, roulette, poker, and blackjack. I really trust these guys, because their casino is used by tens of thousands of people and has an 11-year tradition. Maybe if you have time, you can check out this site. Maybe these guys can offer you smth that u want!
