I don't think it's a movie you can enjoy. You will either say 'well, huh' or 'what the fuck was that garbage' at the end.

Cinematography was nice but nothing Refn hasn't done before, the gore was impressively well done, and the movie itself was easily one of the worst things I've ever watched. I knew going in that it was nothing like Drive and that calling the trailers/promo material for the movie 'disingenuous' would be the understatement of the year, but still... I was not prepared for just how unlikeable in every possible way it would be.

never watched this, but for some reason this 6 month old VFX video popped up on reddit the other day. love watching this stuff
