Actually i'm not sure. I just looked at the episode list on netflix, and they don't mention the vingette stories in the episode overview. Maybe they don't realize that's was the best part of the show, those little short stories. But there's not a single one in there. And iirc more than half the episode was dedicated to pensatucky.
What I remember it for is "wow. that's actually a plausible white-trash-whore kind of situation. They laid it on a little thick, but it's not all that thick. There is probably a woman with THAT story."
Ahh. I just remembered. A tittin' and a hairin'. At least they titled the episode with it's most memorable line.
When I say, "Good episode" what I mean is that you'll come away from the hour thinking... "man, that's fucked up." But I bought it.

Really surprised there isn't more activity here. Just finished the full 13 episode season, and that was overall one of the best seasons since the first. From a drama and story standpoint, anyway, not from a comedic standpoint. They really mixed up the formula, and the ending was pretty damn dramatic.
Things got a bit more 'real' then ever before, not 'darker' compared to the twisted shit some of the COs (humps) was doing before, but more actual violence/death though. Threw me off a bit cause people rarely died before. Didn't expect some of the things that happened, even after last season's dark note of Poussey's death.
Not sure where they are taking things after that. I don't know if their plan is to have a totally new set or what. I'm guessing that ending lets them write a lot of characters off if the actors start asking for more money by having them be in some 'other prison' from the ones they keep.

Maybe halfway through the latest season. So far I actually really enjoy it. The "OMG Pussay (sp??) died!!" crap is a bit boring/irritating but it isn't a main filler.

They have enough strong tier 2/3 characters that didn't make it to s6, could make entirely all s7 about them, but then it'd be like Lost tail section.
Course i noticed all the asians didn't come back, even the sand dindu one, biggest loss is Maritza

The new characters really suck, they all just have no flavor and it seems half the time is just spent on them or their backstories.
I really thought they had a good chance dwelving into the guards w/ PTSD, but no they're all just cookie cutter trash.

I lost interest when it couldn’t decide if it wanted to be fun with poignant elements of drama or a kinder gentler Oz. At least Whentworth maintaines a consistent tone. Just felt like I would go from laughing about one thing to an inmate getting raped, beaten, or dehumanized and humiliated in the next scene.
Characters and story were not enough for it to rise above tat big flaw so I stopped watching, wife is still watching this while she iPads however she doesn’t seeem to think it’s anything special anymore. Just another show to fill the void.

I think I watched up until Pussay got killed off. When I tried to watch the new season after that, I found myself bored within like 20 minutes. It lived way past its ability to remain fresh.
