Based on Tad Williams' sci-fi novels.

Well the books were good ... ok the first three were good anyway. Always wondered if it might make a half-decent MMO

I thought it was dead. Guess it's coming back from the dead, then. We had a thread, but it might be so old, it might predate the move to rerolled...

There was significantly more combat than I would expect from a game based on those books. The idea is pretty cool though because they can literally do anything they want as far as future content development.
