I missed that one, but caught LG vs Cloud9...man did LG get trashed. It was like watching a pro team vs a pick up. Don't get me wrong, everyone on LG is far better at the game than I am...but Seagull is carrying them for the most part. Surefour is just plain crazy, his Tracer gameplay just blows the mind. It's not just the accuracy which is insane, but just how he plays and moves around the other team.

lg release mixup (seagulls team) and pick up eu team instead. Be interesting to see where he ends up, or if he sticks with the current guys and tries to pick up a new sponsor.

I noticed the threads on this game have slowed down a lot and my friends list is seriously light on nights. Used to be 20-30 on now its like 4 people. People bored? I'm so addicted.

I play a decent amount but usually late at night. I'll be playing at more normal hours tonight and looking to do some ranked. I think I'm rank 56 atm, been playing a lot of McCree, Zen, and Ana.

I'm still playing every night, but not as much. I'm still addicted though. It does seem that overall interest has gone down.

I think competitive has split people somewhat, I was playing with people almost nightly before competitive came out, and when it did I never did again since I was ranked much lower then most. I guess that might have happened to a few and they just stopped instead of solo queuing.

I wonder what Seagull will do. I'm fairly sure just streaming would pay him more than the pro-circuit. This is the perfect opportunity for him to leave if he wants to.

If he decides to go on, he also has the opportunity to move to a different team...right now I feel he carries LG, or the old LG team. They are good, but I don't think they are able to seriously compete against the top team like Envy and Cloud9. Cloud9 destroyed them yesterday like they were amateur, then again maybe they were not at their best knowing this was about to happen.

Thought it was short sighted to replace esper so quickly, and Im now questioning the logic by LG to release a team who whilst not winning have been placing well and have a massive following due to seagull's popularity. Bizarre.

He has said multiple times on his stream he wants to stay in the pro-circuit and not just stream. I am wondering what team he is talking about because on his stream he said MixUp! is reforming which was Seagull, Engima, Milo, Esper, Harbleu, and Pierow back in TF2 and closed beta. And the new team has Gods, Dummy, Pookz. Maybe he was just saying they are just going back to their old team name and staying with the same team*shrug*

I doubt Seagull will find a whole new team though. In the OW rankings, they are #8 worldwide and #3 NA. Unless he moves to EU there isn't much options unless C9 or Eny recruit him.

Agreed. They replaced Esper out of no where, then Indust was their support for what maybe 2-3 weeks? And yesterday they had Dummy formerly from Team Liquid as support. It is like they replace team members every week.

didn't shaq recently get into pro gaming (management) and try to poach seagull for his team? That could be pretty lulzy, especially if they can get shaq to commentate on tournies

shaq, charles barkley, and snoop dogg commentating on overwatch tournies

Yeah he did, that's certainly one option that will be available to them. We'll most likely know sooner than later. It seems that the team knew for a while it was coming, so they probably have been looking at their options.

They can't really afford to miss a lot of tournament because they have no team. They are one of the top team and have the most visible "star" in Seagull in all of Overwatch, so I'm sure they'll get some offers.

From talking to my friends who were pretty into Overwatch most have quit for 2 reasons.

1: Comp mode ranking is a piece of shit.
2: Preparing for next WoW expansion.

I went from seeing 20-30 people on OW at night to 1-3 and now I'm seeing a dozen or so on WoW instead.

I have a bunch of friends that will only play Quick Play currently until the ranking system is revamped.

I fell down to like 39 and was determined to solo queue my way back up. Made it to 46 then dropped back down to 42 or something. Frustrating. I took a little break to do some prep for Legion, but that's pretty much over with.

Are you still in the 40s, Noodlebro? If you're there and see me on shoot a group invite. I know we haven't grouped much, but I don't ever rage and think I'm ok at the game. I play Mccree when I can in the current state of the game.

Before competitive, interest was dying due to lack of "hooks". Now with competitive, interest is dying because people either just don't enjoy FPS, hate coin flip, or just frustrated :D

I still play nightly. Probably take a break when new Hearthstone adventure is out but I'll be back.

I mainly stopped playing because I was getting stressed out. I feel pigeon holed into playing classes I don't really like and I don't want to be the reason why we lose.

I feel like I'm adding something with classes like Tracer on escort maps, but I feel like I'm obligated to play something more tanky on KotH maps. If I could play escort maps only I'd be all over it.
