Another South American horror thriller that's supposed to be released by now (going off memory) but maybe the VOD is taking some time.

I was pretty sure it had a set distribution date, but I know it's been delayed before. Trailer looked great and they spent 40m on the movie. It was very high on my Latin American thrillers must-watch list. Very curious if it will live up to it's hype.

I'll quote you in the thread I started about the movie, assuming this is the one you're referring to?

Still no word on a US VOD release as far as I can tell. Looks like the theatrical release has been delayed. There's also another Colombian drama movie with the exact same title, Pacífico, which might have a release date coming up soon, so there could be some confusion between the two.

It had dates, and now it wouldn't surprise me if it never comes out. Getting unreleased Chinese movie feeling about this one. Money spent on this from unusual sources and the studio doesn't seem to be able to close any deals.

He's not wrong. This is hyped to shit at this point. It's supposed to be a huge game-changer for Latin American movies.

Maybe that's why it's being slow walked and handled with such care.
