Make him play nes and when he gets horny from the pixels throttle him down to 28.8k or 56k depending on if it's primetime and the load is high

We had a speech eval for the kid today. Long story short his receptive language is on par with a 2 year old. His expressive language is far behind. He's at the equivalent of a 10 month old in that regard. He has 4 hours of early intervention services and needs 10. The services he's getting aren't really the ones he needs either. Pretty sure we're going to have to go into full blown stop fucking around asshole mode to get early intervention to add the services we need.
That's all going to be fun on top of a 3 month hernia surgery recovery. That should actually help with any phone calls I'll have to make. lol

I dunno I would do some really fucking heinous stuff to any person that would purposely and knowingly abuse or bring harm to my son in anyway. I don't blame you for carving those initials onto a clip of bullets. You can never be too prepared!
To be 100% clear I was being a bit, figurative when mentioning the bullets.

I'd kill the bitch public execution style though, if she came after my kids. No question. They aren't hers anymore, the oxygen thief.

I'm a fairly mellow guy anymore. I don't fight, I'm rarely even confrontational in person.

Fuck with my kid's though? I will make sure the entire world knows why your head is on a pike in front of the police station with me laying down beside it, hands behind my head.

I dont recall how old your kid is. But for whatever its worth, they rated my son "speech delayed" for hist first 2-3 years. He was our first, so we were mildly concerned.

Turns out my parents were right and its not really a thing. In my sons case, by the time he was 5 or 6 he had more than caught up. At eight years old, the kid now reads a few grade levels above his age, has a vocabulary on par with most college students, and can hold long conversations about space and physics shit.

Basically, my experience has led me to believe speech delay is incredibly overdiagnosed and we should probably all not worry about it. Theres probably exceptions, but I've met several other parents who had the same experience. I bet your kid catches up with or without the extra hours.

I think I have mentioned it here before but its in their own interest to refer your child to to a program of some sort. My wife once talked to a speech therapist briefly about our son in passing and without even seeing our son she recommended that we start a program immediately. I told my wife no way and now he is 4 and he just talks so much. I will say my 2 year old daughter failed her hearing tests and had to have tubes put in. That same day she started talking much louder and the few words she spoke sounded much clearer, its been a few months and she has since had a explosion in spoken words.

I had tubes when I was a kid too. I have pretty piss hearing in one ear because I had like 8 surgeries including one where they grafted skin onto my ear drum.

Right now the kid is taking his first nap in his toddler bed. Immediately got up and checked the door and then went to his bed and went to sleep like a rock. If this one thing could be easy I'd be happy

I've had 5 sets of tubes put into 3 kids... and it's so much of a difference for speech development and hearing.

Yeah, the transition to the regular beds was totally smooth for all my kids. Nice when that happens.

Or since the kid wasn't getting out of bed leave him there to cry it out, one or two nights later and it might be resolved.

Now he knows there are options that include not sleeping in the bed.

Not saying to burn the crib in front of him and make him watch. Just disassemble it or move it into the garage and let him cry it out in the real bed. Then when it's closer to the new baby bring that crib back.

I thnk he'll be fine honestly. He sleeps 12 hours a night. I think he just thought it was cool at first and then later was like "what t he fuck, did they just leave me here"

We're thinking we might get better results tonight at sleep time
