I understand the racing HC shit a hangover from POE1, but why the fuck are all these dudes rolling HC in this game, where its not trivial to run through the campaign like POE1 when you die. And its not a balanced beta. Plus the game is like orders of magnitude harder too. Most of these dudes die and dont even bother to reroll. Like my man Ben.

Got through the campaign at last, the interludes were pretty fast but Act 4 was a long ride.

3 raw Divs and a Perfect Jeweler the first day in maps is the best I have ever had in PoE.

Got my resists fixed now and some basic plus to minion gear. I found and crafted most of it for once, bought a scepter and a ring mainly.

The trials still suck, I fucking hate Sekhema. Would run the chaos trial but it's lvl 80 area and I'm only 70 so I got nuked fast.

I thought it was funny af to log in for the first time yesterday and see the guild bank full of blues. All this time since steam release and... the guild bank is still filled up with the most worthless blues, ever. Nothing has changed, lol.

ok that act 2 boss was brutal. I was such low dmg to him compared to rest of the act and tiny little circle to move around, with portal firing projectiles, tornado's, moving lighting rods, melee sweep swing that takes up half the area. Spent more time running/dodging, but didnt want to die and start over like mentioned above.

Spoiler season usually gets me going but this isnt really doing it for me once i start playing. The gameplay in campaign is a bit of a slog by now and I feel like there are few and/or no meaningful choices, maybe if i somehow had more knowledge of all the skills/supports/passive tree/uniques it could be better but i can't get interested enough to pick all that up.

Maybe it's similar in PoE1 but i'm blind to it since i already know a lot after playing it for years

They need to make it easier for people to respec and rejigger their build. Passive respecs should be free and lesser jew orbs should be plentiful. The game is night and day depending on the build your playing. The campaign needs to be free mode for end game.

I dropped some blues with dual sockets but that's about it. Even good crafting starters were okay but I sold like 12 items out of there last night.

I figure someone was trolling or new. I dont really care I just thought it was funny.

I feel like some consultant needs to come in and take stock of who is in charge of PoE1 and who is in charge of PoE2 because this isn't a case of "different games for different people" at this point.

PoE2 legitimately sucks and is pandering to a very niche audience by accident. Hilariously. And PoE1 has had some of the best patches of all time recently albeit far too slow.

Yea I’m also confused. They really pigeonhole you into how you start as well because there’s not enough fucking options from the get go. It’s so antithetical to everything Poe was/is. I get wanting a different , more action /skill based combat or whatever but they changed too much other stuff too. I logged in and did the very first zone and was like..dude how fucking far is it to hillock.. I mean miller.. the boss himself is fine, more entertaining to fight than hillock for sure. But fuck me if they just shrunk everything by 30-40% the game would be infinitely better immediately

Just beat Doryanj after getting my 2nd ascendancy trials done.....deadeye is pretty braindead for the most part but Doryani was a nightmare with -10 lightning res, lol.

Made it to Kingsmarch and logged off for now......will probably be in maps by tomorrow but I don't see myself going much further.

man the more i think about it t he more i'm mindbottled that you cannot buy from player-shops till you get to act four. it means that you're incentivized to sell quick-exalt/alchemy items out of ye olde bank.

Just finished act 1 today, it plays much, much better than in december. No mana issue (yet), the loot is ok, all good. However, did they turn the color saturation to 11 ? That map with the big red thorns was so flashy it was ugly.
