Before I potentially screw this up, anyone know of a better way to craft the last affix on this than just YOLO'ing a jawbone + abyssal echoes omen?
I guess I'm looking for high tier life, %increased ES or global defenses, or more rarity. After my last crafting attempt that blew an ancient jawbone (which isn't worth using on this) on my ring to end up with T4 flat cold, not feeling too confident...
Edit: Ended up getting a choice between +104 Max Life (T2, but a low roll) and 49% increased Evasion from Body Armor. Picked the second one because by my math it takes my chest from 2162 to about 2550 evasion rating, which should be way more survivability increase than 104 life once I factor in all the evasion->deflection conversion I have too. Plus, 20% defenses from catalyst affects both the ES and the evasion affix; with life I would've had to choose one or the other.

Seems like crafting is a lot more deterministic now, which is about time......
I don't completely understand it yet as I never went too deep with POE1, but even having the option to re-desecrate if you don't like the result is a great option. I actually found an omen of light today and sold it for 180 exalts......but if I ever get more than the 2 divs I have so far, I think I'll try my hand at crafting down the road.

Yeah, imo this is the best crafting there's ever been in a GGG game. Hell, probably even in the whole genre. PoE1 Harvest league let you craft a bit more deterministically but it also involved a lot more bullshit (and even worse, it propped up TFT's status in the community). This is a good medium, especially when combined with the new trading system.
A couple things that I crafted and use:
Way better than anything else I've made on my own in either PoE, other than maybe late, late Harvest league.
All I did was start with magic drops that each had one good affix and used greater/perfect currency and a desecrate to finish them. I've sold a bunch more items for 50ex-15div that I made with Omen of Putrefaction+Abyssal Echoes too. There's a lot more you can do if you want to mess with the recombinator, essences (especially the new abyss one), and the more complicated omens that work with affix tags or just do prefix/suffix changes.

I'm still at T12 maps currently, how common are perfect exalts / transmutes / etc? Have gotten a few perfect transmutes in sanctified maps I believe, but other than that they seem pretty rare.
Would love to learn to craft this league since Deadeye really is a braindead class.....probably going back to monk next league and I am sure the knowledge would help.

Perfect exalts and chaos are way more rare than divs. More rare than perfect jewelers even. Perfect regals and greater chaos aren't too bad, maybe a little more rare than divs (despite being worth much less). Perfect transmutes and augments aren't bad at all, I don't hesitate to use those for any item stuff. By T12, greater trans/aug should have completely replaced the plain versions for anything else you use them for.
Spicysushi PoE, ElektroPOE, and Fubgun all have good crafting videos on youtube that cover both the new and old systems.

Appreciate it....currently have a ton of greater augs / trans, but only 2 or 3 greater regals and 1 greater exalt. Zero perfect ones as of yet. Endgame has been more fun than last league for sure, still not a fan of the endless atlas though.
Some of the random one-off maps were cool but the whole concept of towers and random maps hasn't grown on me.

The infinite respawn/0 exp loss boss fights are not just a good idea, but mandatory with some of this stuff in its current state. The 4th Vessel of Kulemak fight is one of the worst I've seen. Probably THE worst. And the fact you get "half" an arena to fight it in is a real kicker.

Maybe your weapon has spirit and if you were then to weapon swap that other weapon doesn't have enough?

Next step, delete chilled ground from the game. I keep filling up a dumpster tab of waystones that have it, then whenever I need junk maps to advance to a new tower or whatever I spam them with chaos orbs and a stack of omen of chaotic monsters.
Burning too actually, at least until they can figure out how to do it without cutting your fps in half or more.

I was having weird network sync issues, getting kicked back to Character select, etc; in my case I was also having random BSODs, though, (driven by and blamed in the .dmp file analysis to a cldflt.sys file, which is related to OneDrive) just cropped up in my new-ish 9070XT/9800X3d; turns out I had put iCloud on this machine to sync some stuff to my wife's iCloud that she uses in her design work, (its super hard to upload to Apple's Cloud directly these days).
Turns out that ICloud's virtual NIC/syncing was conflicting with OneDrive and the resulting network contention issues were affecting POE2 and everything else. I removed ICloud (She has the docs now) and all of my issues (crashing back to login when porting back to town, unable to log in, etc) went away.
Maybe check event viewer and see if there is anything else going on behind the scenes? If my ICue light pattern wasn't off (lame) I probably wouldn't have bothered to give it much thought.
May be just a POE2 issue as well, though. I saw the video mentioned about improving performance via /clear and was bewildered initially. Now I understand what people are trying to address.

oh lol why the fuck does it tie to both weapons, i dont even have my swap set :\
i cant anyway i have a shield that gives +spirit per max health and im not gonna get another anytime soon lol
