More rare because they only drop that low a level in the campaign. 67's you get from mapping. And expensive because people who speedrun the campaign end up like level 52 or so but still want to get their third ascendancy asap.

Been ages since I played minions in POE2, what's the cheapest way to get a 6L spectre gem these days? Just buy a corrupt one off trade that wasn't ruined with -1 level?

I ended up buying this. Is there a guide for the mentally challenged that I should read before starting or is it ok to go blind? I don't care if it's dick punchingly difficult as long as it's fair.

Did you play PoE 1? If not, read up on orbs and how they're used to trade or upgrade gear, as this game doesn't use gold in the same way as other ARPG's

IMO this is the best state POE2 has been in, with regard to new people just engaging with the game fresh and following along the story/objectives.
The main piece of unsolicited advice i will give you is that when you do the campaign, the map will have 'icons' on it. Like all this:
those icons are things you can find on the map. they are X'd out when you do them. note the skull there has a + by it. that means it offers you a unique character upgrade only from that, so they are essential. that's how you can do the whole campaign and basically understand if you got all the things.

oh right, i came here to say that Anshar, the sand mother from sekema trial third floor, is a pretty bonkers bosstame. she moves directly and swiftly, and attacks pretty fast. not sure she can dethrone the monkey but she may be the most bullshit free boss i've tamed so far (aside from teh monkey).

They aren't. They just don't get X'ed if you leave their loot on the ground. It's dumb.

I know about that and make sure to pick up the loot. I still have a half dozen or so that never X'ed out.
That's just a minor annoyance compared to the actual game-breaking bug I ran into yesterday though. Apparently they didn't account for people actually being masochistic enough to repeat the campaign, because when I got to A3 on a second character the pool you have to examine to progress the main league quest line has no prompt. Can't unlock the A3 rune recipes (which I'm pretty sure includes getting divines from the league mechanic) and can't do anything in A4 either. Not sure if it happens to every single person with a second character or if I just got "lucky", but there's a big thread full of people bitching about it on the forum with no GGG response as of yet.
Getting the crazy lag spikes and disconnections last two nights as well. It's almost like it's trying to tell me to find something better to do with my time.

Made a Twister build to get to Act 3 and go Gorilla.
I understand why people use Twister as a start. Once you get ice tipped arrows/barrage/frost Nexus it's kinda wild how much DMG you do.
Still kinda annoying gameplay with 3 setup attacks.
But will drop it anyway once I get the big boy monkey.

Anyone happen to know what the ideal Frost Bomb support setup is? I see a lot of people using Short Fuse II but the way I understood it is that severely gimps the amount of exposure the spell applies. I have been using Overabundance II, Spell Echo, Potent Exposure, and Magnified Area II, but I'm not sure that's correct either.

I use Frost Bomb with my werewolf and I'd like to know too. I'm new to PoE and the gem descriptions are confusing.
